THE Mariners will be taking a full squad to Winterton Rangers on Friday night for the first game in a busy pre-season schedule. With two days of pre-season training under their belts, Town's squad now face the run in to the first league game against Rochdale on Aug 9th at Blundell Park.

New boys Chris Llewellyn (top), Robbie Stockdale, Richard Hope and Matt Heywood have all begun to train with the squad and Town fans will get their first look at them in Friday's game at Winterton's West Street ground (19:30 KO). Town are still hoping to sign a mystery player, believed to be a striker, in the next few days so he also may be present.

  • Town have arranged a trip to Farsley Celtic on July 25 as a replacement for the cancelled friendly at Mansfield .

  • The home friendly against Oldham Athletic at Blundell Park, on Saturday, July 19, will now kick-off at 1pm and not 3pm as previously advertised.
