Question of the Week

Who will go down?

Beat the Bookies: Week 33

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 10/04/2010

Cheltenham v Bury - Cheltenham @ 2.78

Cheltenham seem to be finding a fine vein of form at the moment. Bury had a good result last time out but before that had really lost their way.

Lincoln City v Bournemouth - Lincoln City @ 3.66

Lincoln still need to get a few more points to be sure of safety and they have a difficult run in so will be keen to get them ASAP. Bournemouth don't always travel well and lost just down the road at Grimsby not so long ago.

Torquay v Rochdale - Torquay @ 3.51

Dale haven't fired on every cylinder just recently and Torquay will be desperate to keep the gap between themselves and the bottom two to at least seven points. Its a long journey for Dale who are virtually certain to get promoted and maybe they'll take their foot off the pedal?

Northampton v Notts County - Northampton @ 3.04

Notts County seem to - at very least -scrape a win just about every week, but the Cobblers have been playing well and could finally be the team to beat the Magpies.

Port Vale v Aldershot - Port Vale @ 2.38

Aldershot are a really inconsistent side and you're never sure which side are going to turn up? Port Vale likewise to some extent, but I would have expected to see Vale closer to Evens than this price.

Chesterfield v Dagenham - Dagenham @ 3.66

Dagenham are knocking on the door of the play-offs again and Chesterfield have had one or two dodgy results recently. This looks a good price for an away win.

This Week's Tips

  • Cheltenham to beat Bury (7/4)
  • Lincoln to beat Bournemouth (5/2)

    The Monkey's Bet

  • Grimsby to win 3-1, 33/1
