Beat the Bookies: Week 7

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 23/09/2011

THREE out of five winners last week meant Beat the Bookies is back in profit. Aldershot's away win at Bristol Rovers was the pick of the selections.

Premier League Tip

No bet this week

Championship Tip

Coventry v Reading - home win (3.25, Victor Chandler). Both sides have been struggling this season but it's hard to see why Reading are such clear favourites. They did well last year but have hardly had a good win this season.

League One Tip

Scunthorpe v Yeovil - away win (5.4, Victor Chandler). This has to be the bet of the week. There's not been much to choose between Yeovil and Scunny this season, yet Yeovil are over 4/1 to win. Fill your boots!

League Two Tip

Bradford v AFC Wimbledon - away win (3.6, Victor Chandler). City are off to their traditional terrible start to the season. It normally takes them until Xmas to get going. Wimbledon are ticking along nicely. 3.6 looks pretty tasty as well.

Blue Square Premier Tip

Tamworth v Stockport - away win (3.3, Sky Bet). Stockport looked the part last week against Town, they rarely lose, so should be good for at least a draw,
