Beat the Bookies: Week 21

GILLINGHAM'S win at Crawley ensured one winner out of five last week, but the odds were long enough to ensure that the profit for the season as a whole increased. Shame Blackburn didn't manage to beat Liverpool!

This week we have a Xmas special of a long odds winner in every division.
Premier League Tip
Liverpool v Newcastle - away win (7.12, Pinnacle). Liverpool seem to be going through a mini-crisis again and have key players suspended or out of form. Newcastle look like they may be turning the corner again after their recent lean spell.
League One Tip
Scunthorpe v Chesterfield - away win (4.17, Pinnacle). Scunthorpe seem to be losing everything at the moment, even when they take the lead against poor sides, a bad sign!
League Two Tip
Crawley Town v Barnet - away win (11.0, Blue Square). We backed Crawley to lose last week and they did! The same logic applies - unrest at the club about players moving in January. If anything this is now likely to be even greater as a) it's closer, and b) they lost last time.
Blue Square Premier Tip
Tamworth v Alfreton - away win (3.4, Bet365). Alfreton have picked up recently and have already beaten Tamworth once this festive season (5-2 as well). More of the same looks in order against a Tamworth side who have slumped in recent weeks.
