Beat the Bookies: Week 29

FOUR out of the six tips last week won for a very healthy return. Blackburn's win at Arsenal netted our biggest winner of the season so far, and it means we're running at a profit of over 40% for the season.

Town play Dartford yet again this weekend, and Dartford need to score a hatful to stand any chance. Town probably just need to score one or two goals to put the tie beyond reach. Whatever the result expect goals. The Darts are going to go for broke from the off, and Town will be looking to win the game to make sure they go through to Wembley and to banish the memories of Braintree with a victory.

Premier League

  • West Brom v Sunderland - away win (4.65, Pinnacle). A match between two out of form sides with not a great deal to play for. However if you take away WBA's smash and grab win at Liverpool, Sunderland's form is definitely the better of the two sides. They've beaten Wigan and West Ham this year, so a struggling club beginning with W would continue the trend!

    League One

  • Brentford v Walsall - away win (4.89, Pinnacle). Brentford looked the business earlier in the season but have fallen away in recent weeks. They have picked up 8 points in 6 games, whereas Walsall have 13. Walsall still have plenty to play for as well, the play-offs are definitely achievable.

  • Bournemouth v Sheffield Utd - away win (3.6, Bet Victor). Both teams are towards the top of the form table. However for very recent form Sheff Utd shade it. They have won last their last three, whereas Bournemouth's winning run ended to Preston last time out.

    League Two

  • Dag & Red v AFC Wimbledon - away win (4.26, Pinnacle). Dagenham are sat in midtable with not much to play for pending a near 100% winning or losing streak. Wimbledon are in the opposite position. They are bottom of the league and desperate for points in this outer London derby where their fans will make it like a home game for AFCW. AFCW have been regularly picking up points in recent weeks, like most teams at the bottom tend to at this time of year. Another 3 is quite plausible in this game.

    FA Trophy/Cup

  • Grimsby v Dartford - Over 4.5 goals (4.65, 10 Bet). Goals could well be the name of the game in this match. Dartford will be after a hatful and they're bound to leave gaps at the back which Grimsby can exploit.
