Grimsby v Aldershot Team News
By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 09/08/2013
GRIMSBY take on Aldershot in the season's opener with both teams considerably different to last season. Town have made eight new signings over the summer and tried to build a stronger but smaller squad. Aldershot have had to rebuild their side entirely over the summer after going into administration.
The Shots start on minus ten points and have had to sign most of their players very late in the summer. Grimsby have had a mixed pre-season but look to have made some strong signings on paper.
An added spice is that brothers Rob and Andy Scott manage the two respective teams.
Town have no injuries so it is down to the managers to pick what they regard as their best squad. Whether Aldershot bring a full 16-man squad remains to be seen, but their team will likely contain a lot of last minute signings.
