Grimsby v Telford Team News

STRIKER Ollie Palmer has extended his loan spell from Mansfield until the end of the season. Palmer, who has rapidly become a crowd favourite, scored the winner against Eastleigh on Tuesday night, and had been due to return to the Stags after the Forest Green game next weekend.

Palmer looks certain to be in the team against bottom side Telford, but Jon-Paul Pittman (hamstring) and Scott Brown (knee) and Jon-Paul Pittman are still injured. Neither featured against Eastleigh however so Paul Hurst will probably pick a very similar if not the same squad that he used in midweek.

For Telford, left back Sean Clancy is said to be close to a return after a long-term injury, and manager Steve Kittrick is hoping to sign a striker before Saturday's deadline.

Telford are bottom, but their recent form has seen some improvement, and they won at Wrexham and Aldershot recently, and have only lost one out of the last five league games. The Bucks have never beaten Grimsby in five attempts, although they managed a draw at home to Town back in November.
