Port Vale v Grimsby Team News

ZAK Mills could return for the trip to Port Vale after a midweek outing in the Checkatrade Trophy, although centre back Nathan Clarke (thigh) and midfielder Luke Summerfield (groin) have not trained all week.
Long-term injuries Jamey Osborne (knee), Sean McAllister (groin) and Akwasi Asante (groin) are all ruled out.
New Port Vale manager Neil Aspin takes charge of his first game. Aspin was brought in after a poor start to the season by the Stoke club. Midfielder Danny Pugh (knee) could return.
