Crewe v Grimsby Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 26/10/2018

GRIMSBY are not expected to make any changes at Crewe as the Mariners look to stick with the settled side which has picked up 10 points in the last 4 games. Harry Davis, Harry Cardwell and Elliott Whitehouse remain injured but even had they been fit it's unlikely they would be called upon.

Crewe defender Perry Ng is suspended for one match after having already picked up five bookings this season. Eddie Nolan (calf) is likely to replace him in defence after coming through an under-23s game on Wednesday.

Town have lost 5 of the 6 matches against Crewe since rejoining the league although the Mariners did pick up a solitary win against the Railwaymen at Blundell Park last season. Crewe have only lost once at home this season and have the best record against any side in the bottom half.
