Let It Begin

GRIMSBY begin the new season on 21st August when they travel to Bromley for the season's opener. The Mariners play their first home game a week later when Weymouth visit Blundell Park.
Town then have four consecutive games against former league sides (Stockport, Barnet, Torquay and Wrexham) some of whom are the more fancied sides in the tournament.
After that half dozen games, Town fans will have an idea of how competitive the new-look side are at this level.
Other matches to look out for are two Halifax games over the Christmas period, sandwiched by the visit of King's Lynn to Cleethorpes.
Town's first pre-season friendly is El Grimbo when the Mariners play at Cleethorpes Town on Sat 17th July.
