Squad Takes Shape

GRIMSBY'S squad is slowly taking shape for the forthcoming season. Midfielder Giles Coke has decided to rejoin the Mariners and four new players have signed for the first time at Blundell Park.
- Defender David Longe-King has signed from Newport in a two-year deal.
- Forward John McAtee has signed from Scunthorpe in a two-year deal.
- Right back Ryan Sears has signed from Shrewsbury in a one-year deal.
- Midfielder Ben Fox has signed from Burton in a one-year deal.
More signings are expected in the coming days.
The first pre-season game is on 17th July when Town make the short trip to Cleethorpes and the Mariners also have away games lined up against Alfreton and Boston.
The new National League season begins at the end of August but season tickets are already on sale.
