Question of the Week

Is football a business or a sport?

The Fishyio: 25-Oct

KABBA is undecided, Santos feels he is victimised, no more transfers this season. Just another week in GTFC. The Mariners are off to Molineux today. It used to be a place to fear going but not so much these days since Wolves decided the new "up" was in fact down and this has not pleased the fans.

Could Dave Jones follow Gordon Strachan and Steve Bruce (to name 2) out of the door after a defeat to the Mariners? Only time will tell. Those who are doubtful for the trip are :

Paul Groves: the player manager is still struggling to make the trip with a calf injury, although he will still be making the trip as he is the manager, what good would he be if he didn't go? Probably a better manager.......

John McDermott: seems the injury curse follows the chain of command. The captain is out with a recurrence of his calf injury which detached from his bone last season.

Steve Chettle: Bad back, bad back, bad back, bad back, get the idea??

The team will be confident after grabbing a draw against "temporary play off soon to be relegation" contenders after being reduced to 9 men. My guess is that Town will grab a 1-0 win and Dave Jones will be on his way to the Job Centre.
