Goodbye Paul! you was told on here that your stubbornness would cost you your job ....but ultimately you knew better.

I am sure he took note!

Don't like Ronnie Moore but the only way we will ever go up is with an experienced manager who will generate some energy rather than a non descript, one dimensional manager whop lacks any imagination

Gotta fancy that we will get a win from either the Woking or Chester game? Should be enough surely?

F**king pathetic.

The sad thing is that it's not a surprise. Most of us expected this.

It was all going to be so easy. We would cruise to 3rd with a week to go, and rest all the key players at Tranmere ahead of the play offs.

Fat F**cking chance of that now.

We will probably need points from the Tranmere game to sneak in to 5th place.

Hurst didn't realise that last Tuesday was itself a blip in coming back with 4 goals. He now sends out his preferred toothless setup with the fallback plan of chucking Bogle and Jennings on to claw the game back, a tactic approved and seen as astute by absolute nobody else on the planet.

Two home games to play-off contenders in 4 days and no goals, and 1 point. There are no excuses, it's just p**s poor management.

Bizarrely - Town can still get promoted.
But P.H. needs to take a long hard look at himself (have a holiday) and let the team pick itself - just like in the play ground, let the skipper pick the team - players know players best.

Before the game I was cautiously optimistic.

After that, we look like we may just scrape into playoffs, but with no grounds for optimism.

I may have wasted my early-bird play-off final ticket, but may have avoided 2 wasted journeys to Wembley.

I will stick to golf, thank you-I have only myself to blame if I don't win, and there is a Green Jacket to play for next year.

And then we stumble into the playoffs with the same shite form we have now and get knocked out in the first round?

That Tinpot Trophy final is looking more and more surreal.
