Well it hasn't taken us long to resort to giving the ball away in the final third and lumping it to Monkhouse.

That's what I liked about Saturday where the ball did not always get lumped up to Monkhouse (as he wasn't in the game)

Need a bit of guile to break down this well organised bunch of cloggers. No wonder they haven't conceded many, but come on... With the squad we have at our disposal to generate absolutely nothing against Braintree is an absolute disgrace.

Not at the game tonight, but let me guess, our strategy is to pump and thump it aimlessly in the air towards our towering targetman.  In reality Braintree's  primeval centre backs are mopping it up.

After the first half last Tuesday I am amazed he started with Hoban and Monky especially against a team like Braintree who are hard to break down.................. get flipping Omar on now!!!

Sounds like they've had more shots too. Macca saved a couple.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Funny how everyone criticises the ball to Monkhouse but I remember it working well for the team that won at Wembley last year

Hardly. Maybe that was one of the good days. Like first couple of games this season when it worked.

The more you do think about it why doesn't he just stick with bogle ?

He seems to be the only player who will never get a fair crack ,monkhouse can be out injured look shite do nowt but still walk back in.

Another loan striker comes in doesnt look like scoring in the slightest but nudges bogle straight out.

I just cant figure it out and people wonder why paul hurst gets stick.
