Fishy:
When did you first start supporting the Mariners, and what was your first game?

Tony:
Must have been about 1970. Can't remember the game, but I think I stood in the Boy's Stand section of the Barrett Stand? I remember being shocked at how small the ground was.

Fishy:
Who is the best player you ever saw wearing a Grimsby Town shirt?

Tony:
Stuart Brace, what pace, sheer passion!

Fishy:
If there is one game you were allowed to go back in time and watch what would it be and why?

Tony:
Grimsby vs Norwich, promo/ championship match about 1975 c20,000 crowd. I have never experienced such an atmosphere at BP since. The night we beat Everton also takes some beating, one chance all night, Wilko back of the net, stunning. I can see it now!

Fishy:
What are your favourite and least favourite away grounds?

Tony:
Fav = Goodison (see above), least Derby (can't see anything in the away section)

Fishy:
What, in your opinion, are GTFC's best and worst seasons since you have been supporting them?

Tony:
Best was winning promotion play off and Auto windshield
The Worst is any season we lost to Scunthorpe or Lincoln

Fishy:
What is the most eventful day you have ever had in the course of following the Mariners?

Tony:
Losing to Coventry to a penalty in the final minutes of the FA cup clash c 1976

Fishy:
Who is the greatest ever GTFC manager?

Tony:
Big Mac

Fishy:
How many games a season do you get to now, and what do you do while Town are playing games that you can't get to?

Tony:
Once a season, I'm usually asleep at 3:00 pm UK time

Fishy:
Name your all-time starting eleven since you have been watching Town?

Tony:
Wainman, Kev Moore, Worthington, Chatterley , Ford , Drinkell, Terry Donovan, Crombie, Brace, Boylen, Hickman, Tees, Cummings ( a touch nostalgic?? - showing my age)

Fishy:
Do your children support the Mariners?

Tony:
My son Tom wears his Town shirt with pride (I think) at his local soccer club. Get's some funny looks (" where's Dixons?"). Drinks Ovaltine out of his GTFC mug!!
