The Mariners have now offered new deals to eight young players under the age of 24 as per the FA rules, but Wes Parker has been released.
The Mariners have now offered new deals to eight young players but Wes Parker has been released. These are the first of the offers the club are considering and are all young players but one. This is due to the rule that says players under 24 have to be told by today if offers are to be made to them.
Graham Hockless, David Soames, Darren Mansaram, Jonathan Rowan, Kirk Wheeler, Greg Young and Ashley Hildred have now been offered terms and Giovanni Carchedi, has been offered a month-to-month contract.
