JUSTIN Whittle looks like spending the next month 'missing in action' with the knee injury he got in the Carlisle game. Another worry For Russell Slade is that four other players also picked up knocks in the same game.
Slade told the Grimsby Telegraph: "Whitts is struggling with his knee after Monday and could well be out for several weeks."
"There are a few players carrying knocks after the hectic Christmas schedule like Michael Reddy, Gary Croft, Rob Jones and Andy Parkinson.
"But we have a little break now with no game this weekend and hopefully that will give us a bit of time to shake off those injuries."
