Hird: Another Month
Hird: Another Month

Hark Now Hird!

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 19/12/2007

SAM Hird's loan spell at Blundell Park has been extended by a further month, it has been agreed with his club Doncaster Rovers today. Hird's loan had been due to end this Thursday.

As it is just a 1 month loan Doncaster will still have the option of a 24-hour call back on the defender, who settled straight away into a right wing-back role in his first game at Barnet. The 20-year-old, along with Barnsley's Rob Atkinson, who arrived at the same time as Hird, have considerably helped strengthen Town's defence. Atkinson's loan, which ends on 2nd Jan, should also be extended provided that Barnsley are happy to do so.

  • It`s Town's 118th Annual General Meeting this Thursday at the Executive Lounge, Blundell Park starting at 10am.
