INJURIES will enforce Town boss Alan Buckley to ring the changes against Rochdale on Saturday. With Town's chances of reaching the play-offs looking very slender the Mariners have to win the game otherwise they will be 13 points behind Rochdale.

Six players are doubtful for the trip to Spotland. Bolland (deadleg), North (knee). Bore (thigh), Hunt (hamstring), Atkinson (groin) and Toner (knee) are all injury worries. Buckley may therefore be forced to turn to youth, with Jarman and Bird possible candidates for the squad.

Rochdale have hit form in recent weeks and finally made it to a play-off spot with a 2-1 won over Bradford in midweek. Their dangerman is Adam Le Fondre, who has an excellent record against the Mariners! Grimsby have lost the last three games against Dale, and five of the last seven.

Rochdale have been in this division since 1974 (They have only been promoted once since (WW2). They reached the play-offs in 2001-2002, but lost to Rushden and Diamonds.
