On loan Bury winger Luke McCarthy looks favourite to replace Green on the left side of midfield, although Serge Makofo is another possibility although the former Kettering winger he has only just returned from an injury himself.

Mansfield, who lost the corresponding fixture last year 7-2, intend to keep an unchanged side, which means they'll play in a 4-3-3 formation.
