Wrexham v Grimsby Team News

PAUL Hurst has to decide on the right combination of strikers for the clash at Wrexham tonight. Padraig Amond missed the Tranmere game with an ankle injury, and Pittman came in in his place and scored in his first start.

Another name in the mix is loan striker Ben Tomlinson who came off the bench against Tranmere and looked dangerous. Hurst has had a few days to look at the former Imp in training.

The obvious combination is the Amond/Bogle partnership that has produced so many goals, but if Amond is not 100% fit Hurst may decide on an alternative.

Other than that the side will probably be the same as against Tranmere when Town more than matched the newcomers at this level.

Wrexham have a 100% record at home this season and will be a tough nut to crack. Town though have won in the last two trips to North Wales: the Mariners have come away with a 1-0 win in the last two seasons. If they repeat that scoreline it would be Grimsby's first clean sheet of the season.
