Colchester v Grimsby Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 16/08/2016

CAPTAIN Craig Disley (concussion) returns to the squad following his lay-off after an injury sustained in pre-season. The midfielder comes into contention for tonight's game, although will probably start on the bench.

Zak Mills (hamstring) is less likely to feature although the defender has been training with the first team this week.

Town are therefore likely to field a fairly similar team to that which almost took a point at Wycombe at the weekend.

Colchester have a win and a draw in their first two games. The side were relegated from League One last season, but are not one of the strongly-fancied teams for promotion this season.

Grimsby have only won three times in 16 attempts at Colchester, although this is their first visit to the new Community Stadium.
