Town Start at Chesterfield

GRIMSBY will play their first fixture of the new season at Chesterfield on Saturday 5th August. Town will then face two Midlands sides at home, Derby in the League Cup and Coventry in the League. It means the face two sides Grimsby meet will have been in League 1 last season.
The Mariners also face early games against Stevenage, Wycombe and Crewe. The first match with Lincoln is at the end of September at Blundell Park and Town also have a home game on Boxing Day, where Mansfield this year will provide the opposition.
The season starts with new sides and also ends with a new team when Forest Green will provide the opposition.
