Macca Wins Player of the Year

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 09/05/2018

JAMES McKeown has won the 2018 Player of the Year Award. The 28-year-old goalkeeper, whose contract has ended, also won the ward in 2013 and 2014. Macca is currently in contract negotiations and is understood to have also received an offer from SPL side, Motherwell.

Harry Clifton won the Young Player of the Year and JJ Hooper picked up the goal of the season for his third strike against Forest Green, Town's last goal of the season. Midfielder Luke Summerfield also picked up four awards.
