YET again you, the Fishy's readers, have voted for March’s Player of the Month and, as most times this season, there is a runaway winner.

Here are the results-:

Darren Mansaram3
John Oster27
Georges Santos121

So for the second month running Georges Santos has run away with the Player of the Month award. A Cape Verde international who made his debut against Mauritania last September in the qualifiers of the 2004 African Cup of Nations. He has played for Toulon, Tranmere Rovers, West Bromwich Albion, Sheffield Utd before his travels brought him first for a trial at Grimsby Town. That was followed up with a contract until the end of the present campaign. He has shown that he can play in defence despite spending most of his career in the centre of midfield, and will be definitely missed if his contract isn't renewed in the summer.

Don’t forget that in the next couple of weeks that the Fishy will unveil its nominations for Player of the Year, based upon your votes throughout the season. This will be the chance for you the readers to elect your choice for the annual trophy of Fishy Player of the Year, which is presented to the winner at the annual awards night.
