Question of the Week

Is football a business or a sport?

Don't Be Too Late!

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 03/07/2004

WITH season ticket sales ahead of expectations and the deadline for discounted prices drawing near, Town fans are urged to get in now before it is too late!

Town chairman Peter Furneaux believes that the Mariners are heading in the right direction, but told The Fishy "Now we need the fans to get behind us and buy their season tickets for next season so we can have great support at Blundell Park!"

The Mariners faithful have been doing just that in recent weeks with the news that season tickets have broken through the £100,000 mark with the kids season tickets in particular being a very popular attraction!

Over 600 in total sales have already been sold and each of these fans has picked up one of the special vouchers giving them free entry at Pleasure Island.

The next 400 buyers will also be entitled to the free-entry vouchers and the Blundell Park ticket office will be open again today (Saturday) from 9am-12 noon, to meet the demand.

You still have time to get the discounted price if you hurry. The last date at the reduced price is July 17, only a few more days away!!!

If you need further information please contact the club on 01472 605050.
