Previous Clubs: QPR (l) Torquay (l) Sheff Utd Blackpool Rotherham Fishy Verdict: Barnes has had a mixed time since his arrival at the start of Graham Rodger's reign and has never really strung together several good performances back to back. His great weakness is crosses, either not coming for them when he should, or not catching/clearing them when he ought to. The great mystery about Barnes is that sometimes he plays a blinder and catches everything, then next week he's rubbish! This suggests his confidence is the problem, which hopefully can be sorted out on the training pitch. If not a replacement may have to be found if Town are to challenge for a promotion place.
