Dover v Grimsby Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 18/12/2015

JOHN-PAUL Pittman is the only player who is definitely out of contention for the visit of Dover on Saturday. Utility player Danny Easy is back in the frame after recovering from a foot injury, although realistically East will be looking at the bench rather than in the starting XI.

The Mariners will be hoping to bounce back from the midweek cup defeat at Shrewsbury, which Grimsby were unlucky to lose.

Dover are one of the surprise packages of the season and are in the top five on merit. The Whites are currently in third position and Town will go above the Kent side if they can win the match. Dover have won at Tranmere and Gateshead so are capable of winning in the North far from their Crabble home.
