Grimsby v Guiseley Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 01/01/2016

JON-PAUL Pittman has recovered from his dislocated shoulder and is available again to Paul Hurst as a striking option. Pittman came on for a brief appearance in the home win at Lincoln and is a certainty to at least make the bench again.

Pittman's gain is offset by the loss of loan striker James Alabi who has returned to his parent club Ipswich this week.

In other team news Conor Townsend is unavailable after limping off in the Lincoln game and Gregor Robertson will come in in the Hull City defender's place.

Guiseley have had a poor Christmas with their home game against Town being postponed due to a waterlogged pitch on Boxing Day, which would have been a bumper crowd for the West Yorkshire club. That was compounded by a 3-0 loss on Monday to Gateshead.
