GRIMSBY will play their first non-league game for a hundred years in Sussex at Crawley Town. Three days later they will face York at Blundell Park, and on the second Saturday of the season Town take on Hayes & Yeading also at home.
Town's first opponents Crawley ended last season strongly after a poor start, and finished in their highest ever spot of seventh, just below the play-offs.
Other highlights of the season include two games with Mansfield during the festive period, the visit of favourites Luton to Blundell Park in September and a second away game of the season at Darlington.
It looks like a difficult start for Town with five of the fancied sides in the first six game, but then Town are also highly fancied themselves with most bookies making the Mariners second only to the Hatters for a return to League Two.
At least now the World Cup is over there is something else to focus on.
